Media maven, global citizen and free thinker, half-English, half-Japanese, Sarah Backhouse was born in the UK and raised in Australia and Japan. Her career as a TV host, writer and producer has taken her from Sydney to London to Los Angeles where she’s worked for a diverse array of broadcasters including: CNBC, BBC, PBS, Fine Living, Sci Fi Channel, NOW.com, WOWOW, Discovery, The G Living Network, Causecast.com and, most recently, Planet Green.
