Pittsburgh where the Yinzer EcoDivas rule
Going Back to Pittsburgh for the first time on 11 years was an amazing Eco Divalicious treat. My friends from high school, people I babysat for and even locals that I met were so excited to share their Eco finds in “da Burgh”.
PLACES TO GO:
So Me is a very eclectic and brilliantly sustainable boutique. I bought the coolest wedding gifts for a friend I’d gone to high school with…who also happens to live out here in La la land.
10,000 Villages (whom I’d first found out about at Green Festival last year) has spread all over the US and promotes social responsibility and supports artisans from villages in third world countries from all around the world.
The Beehive is where we used to go to eat when we went on high school art field trips. And my friend’s band played here a few times as well. They were Eco even before they even thought to do it to be trendy.
STUFF TO BUY:
Toms shoes worn with a business suit…AWESOME!
Green Tree Jewelry are very light and great for starting conversations.
Ecco are Eco! :P
Keen is a great advocate for supporting good causes.
So, much to do, so much to see, more pics to come…including a visit to Eco designer Kelly Lane‘s showroom.
